UDI Events – what is our WordPress plugin about?
The plugin we developed introduces a system for users to register for various events. Thanks to this solution, the website administrator can determine which events users can sign up for in advance and what requirements must be met for participants to be accepted. The plugin significantly simplifies event management and automates email communication with attendees.
After filling out the registration form, users automatically receive a confirmation email with the status of their registration. Practical and convenient, right?
Who is the UDI Events plugin for?
Our event registration plugin is designed for both small and large websites that not only want to inform users about meetings and events but also provide them with the ability to quickly reserve a spot at a planned event.
How does UDI Events from WP Care work?
The plugin allows for adding an unlimited number of events with titles, subtitles, descriptions, locations, and start/end dates and times. There is also a field for a short (or long, as preferred) event description, including topics to be discussed or notable guests. Next, the administrator sets the maximum number of attendees and the event price. An additional feature includes the ability to issue invoices. If extra materials are available, the administrator can set a password that grants access to shared files.

In the registration form, the event title and available tags for the subtitle can be selected. The administrator can also define different types of agreements that users must accept for their registration to be processed.

In the next step, settings related to the automatically generated emails for applicants must be configured. This includes messages for pending, accepted, and rejected applications, as well as notifications in case of status changes. Finally, the administrator selects the email address(es) that will receive notifications about new registrations.

In the WordPress admin panel, the administrator can check how many spots are taken, review submitted information, and see what users have agreed to. The admin can also manually change registration statuses from “pending” to “accepted” or “rejected”.
The website displays both upcoming events available for registration and past events with read-only access to event materials. Events are listed in the order set by the administrator.
